Phew, planning out a trip for all four countries is a good deal more work than a simple single country deal — so many options, so little time! Anyway, the first one is on the site, we’ll be adding more and fleshing out the other trip plan section in the coming days.

We’ve started with just two trip plans for Vietnam, but we’ve got lots more up our sleeve — we also snuck in another Laos one while we were at it. Now for the fun bit — trip plans for multiple countries — coming soon!

Ok, we’ll forgive you if you’re never heard of Vinh Phuc province — we hadn’t. You probably hadn’t heard of the provincial capital either — Vinh Yen — we sure hadn’t. However, you may just have heard of Tam Dao Hill Station — northern Vietnam’s first hill station. Just a hop skip and a jump from Hanoi, Tam Dao is a handy weekend escape from the summer heat — don’t forget to pack your karaoke gear.
