As one of the lucky Travelfishers in the group that was plied with fantastic seafood and Bintang before being shown the sneak preview, I can say with good authority how impressed I was with the new Travelfish app!

I like my TF guide printouts when I travel (Stuart can vouch for that, having seen my neatly shrunk and bound copy of the Vietnam guide) - SO I wasn't sure, initially, what I thought of the idea of an electronic version, on a small screen no less. However, within the first 60 seconds, I knew this would be a very cool and useful app. Very easy to navigate and to read. I'm thinkoing of those times where you get off a bus after a long journey and you are looking for accommodation. It is incredibly easy to browse through the options, and pull it up on a map. Love it!

I'm now thinking that I need to invest in an iPhone and plan another trip.

(OK - to be honest, I'm not actually a beer drinker, so Stuart's attempts to cloud MY judgement and opinion were unsuccessful! Stone sober - and I still think it's a great app!)

Congrats Stuart!

Very nice Stuart! An amazing idea and you're actually proactive about getting it done. It's hard to find expats in Asia that:

1. Have novel ideas.
2. Are motivated to work them out.
3. Run with them, staying on track.
4. Launch!

Congrats!

I don't have the iPod touch yet, but am considering it. I think this product will be very successful for your company. Looking forward to seeing it on video once it goes live.

Cheers! Vern

Congrats -- looking forward to seeing it. I think your reasoning on this is spot on. One tangential comment: GetSatisfaction is a real dog -- too many clicks, too many hurdles to provide feedback. Kills off all but the most dedicated brand loyalists who want to give feedback.
